yesterday morning claudia and i woke up at 8:30 in the am and were off to a, at that time, secret destination.
later on i came to find out that we were going to the le mont saint michel. it is one of the most visited sites in normandy and that was evident by the number of tour buses and the size of the gift shop inside.
we got there after driving through fog as thick as italian hot chocolate...

the link is to an article talking about the closing of stansted airport outside of london which is where i flew through yesterday. if i would have been there one day later my flight would have been cancelled, i would have been without food except for my bag o german trail mix and i would have been sitting | standing | fuming along side many other travellers.
